In 2014, when he filed his poll affidavit, he had movable assets worth Rs 2.02 lakh.
He had no immovable assets like land or buildings.
But come 2018, his affidavit says his assets have grown to a whopping Rs 2.87 crore — a mind-boggling 14,107 per cent increase. Now, Raja Singh has movable assets — like cash in hand, saving in banks, vehicles and jewellery — worth Rs 87.5 lakh. Apart from that, he also bought a commercial building in Haridas Market, Sultan Bazar for Rs 2.05 crore. He also owes Rs 1.83 crore to various banks.
AIMIM leader not far behind
Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, who is seeking re-election from Malakpet for the third time, reported 50 per cent increase in wealth. In 2014, he had Rs 3.9 crore worth assets, which increased this year to Rs 5.83 crore. He owns commercial buildings in Machlikaman, Gulzar Houz and Panjeshah in Old City.

Danam Nagender reported assets worth Rs 2.5 crore in 2014, which rocketed to Rs 22 crore in 2018. He is the ruling party candidate from Khairatabad. Out of the Rs 22 crore, he had invested an amount of Rs 16 crore
in the form of equity a private firm.
